[www.inewsguyana.com] – The parents of a nine year old boy of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown are at their wits end to find him after he went missing on the afternoon of April 1.
The youngster, Shaquan Gittens was last seen by relatives around noon on April 1 when he went home to have lunch.
He was last seen clad in a green Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-shirt and a blue jeans.
His mother, Doysha Gittens told iNews that she left the youngster in the care of his 15-year-old brother and went to work on the day.
She explained that the brother last saw him when he came in from the streets around noon to have lunch.
However, neighbors reported seeing the lad late into the afternoon flying a kite in the streets.
The woman said it is unusual for the young man to be away from home for such extended periods hence her worry.
Anyone with information on 9-year-old Shaquan is being asked to contact the nearest Police Station or his mother on 675-9897.
