[www.inewsguyana.com] –An 8 – year – old girl of Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara was early this morning struck down and killed while attempting to cross the road.
According to police, at about 07:40hrs Gabriella Davidson attempted to cross the road at Land of Canaan and was struck down by a motor vehicle.
She died while receiving treatment at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, EBD.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations. iNews could not ascertain any further details in relation to the incident.
