[www.inewsguyana.com] – The 704 Sports Bar has joined forces with the Guyana Amateur Basketball Coaching Association (GABCA) to host two exhibition games on Saturday, November 29 at the Burnham Court.
A BBQ and fish fry will be the main source of fund raining while the basketball community will be treated to the Plaisance Guardians taking on the Pepsi Sonics while the Media Combine team will take on the Diplomatic Core.
Junior Andrew Hercules noted that the event will help to raise funds in order to do development courses in 2015. Three will also be a three point shootout as well as a free throw contest.
Project Manager of 704, Dustanni Barrow was pleased to support the imitative.
“We are now getting on stream and we like to be involved with events that will build society, as you know basketball is a very popular sport and one of the main parts of it are the coaches so we are happy to come onboard and support this venture,” Barrow mentioned.
The event is expected to start from 13:30h.
