[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 18:25hrs yesterday (Tuesday May 06) at JB Singh Road and Thomas Road, Georgetown.
According to reports motor cycles driven by 25 – year – old Jason Lashley of Sixth Street, Alberttown, and 66 – year – old Harriet Philadelphia of Pike Street, Kitty, collided at the intersection.
Both drivers received injuries and were admitted to the GPHC; however Philadelphia succumbed while receiving medical treatment.
