Guyana now has a total of 55 COVID-19 cases.
This was announced this afternoon by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Shamdeo Persaud during the Ministry of Public Health’s update on the situation.
The number of deaths remains at six.
There are 25 persons in institutional quarantine and 41 in institutional isolation.
The number of persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit remains at five.
