courtThey were all fined $10,000 each and deported.

Venezuela is currently facing its most devastating economic crisis caused in part by the decline in oil prices on the world market and its people have been suffering.

The citizens are calling for assistance as they claim that there is no food or jobs for them to provide for their families. However, President David Granger explained that while the situation in the neighbouring country was cause for concern, Venezuelans are welcome in Guyana once they enter through legal means and abide by the laws of Guyana.

  1. Have a heart, Mr Granger…Let them stay..Don’t send people back to hunger and starvation.Guyanese and generous and forgiving people.

  2. Give the poor and hungry a break….Guyanese had all done the same in the 70’s and 80’s when thousands were starving and fleeing to provide for their own families!
SHAME..! SHAME..! TO SEND THEM BACK!!!
