[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ranks in Berbice today [Friday, July, 10], seized 4.5 kilos of marijuana from a camp in Sheet Anchor, Canje, Berbice.
According to Commander of ‘B’ Division, Brian Joseph ranks were patrolling in the area when they acted on a tip and searched the area, however, as they approached the area two men were sitting in a camp and started to run. The men were chased, however, they made good their escape.
The police recovered 178 12 gauge cartridges and the 4.5 kilos of weed. The police are working to apprehend the men based on information they have received about their identity.
