Three persons were killed in a horrific accident on Wednesday evening at about 22:00h, after two vehicles collided on Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown. Those killed are married couple Robert and Stacy Pyle of Paradise, East Coast Demerara and Linden Eastman of Prashad Nagar, Greater Georgetown.
Inews understands Robert and Stacy Pyle were travelling in a motor car when they collided with the driver of a Canter, GSS 8563. Eastman was the driver of the canter truck.

While details surrounding the accident remain sketchy, inews understands that the car had overtaken the Canter after which the two collided.
A relative of the Pyles told media operatives at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) that Robert picked up his wife at her workplace and they were returning home when they met their demise.
Robert was a Sergeant attached to the Guyana Defence Force, while his 26-year-old wife was a nurse at the Davis Memorial Hospital.
Eastman is said to be a contract Canter driver, who operates from outside the Courts Main Street Branch in Georgetown.
