[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – nine – year old Damian Robertson appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, charged with the offense of armed robbery.
It is alleged that Robertson of South Turkeyen, East Coast Demerara on February 27, 2015 at Bel Air Park, Georgetown, being armed with a knife, he robbed Andrew DeAgrella of one Samsung Galaxy Note Cellular Phone value $85,000.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge; the court heard that the accused currently has a similar matter pending in another court and that he was positively identified by the virtual complainant DeAgrella.
Bail was granted in the sum of $150,000 and he will make his next court appearance on December 11.
