[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – seven – year old Randy Persuad was gunned down on Tuesday evening (March 10) in front his house in Third Street, Agricola Village, East Bank Demerara.
Relatives told iNews that the father of one was shot several times by a close associate. According to one family member, after hearing the gunshots, she ran outside only to find Persaud in a pool of blood.
According to information received, the young man, whose girlfriend is pregnant, was shot about seven times and died while being transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The shooter reportedly walked away calmly from the scene. Reports indicate that the shooter pushed Persaud’s 3 – year – old daughter out of the way before firing the shots.
Persuad, who was a local businessman, recently returned to Guyana and was expected to leave the country on Thursday.
