Guyana has recorded 27 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total confirmed cases to 3,877 as of October 22, 2020.
The total number of deaths due to the virus stands at 117.
According to the Ministry of Health, 16 persons are currently in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
43 persons are now in institutional quarantine, 70 in institutional isolation and 821 in home isolation.
As of today, a total of 2,853 persons have recovered from the virus.
17,625 tests have been conducted thus far.
