[www.inews.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – two – year old Christopher Hookumchand of South Prospect, Mahaicony died this morning at the Mahaicony Cottage Hospital, shortly after he was struck down by a car.
According to the police, the young man was riding his bicycle on the Columbia, Mahaicony roadway, when he was hit by the car just after midnight.
The driver of the vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
