Twenty – year – old Tiffon Peters of 664 East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme Georgetown made his first court appearance before Magistrate Fabayo Azore charged for stealing one Allion motor car and causing damages to the said vehicle.
The accused was not required to plead to the charge which read that on July 26 at East Ruimveldt Georgetown he stole one Allion motor car valued at $2.5M, property of Roy Cox.
Peters is also accused of damaging the vehicles, estimated to be at $800,000. The virtual complainant told the Court that he is willing to settle the matter, if the accused agrees with to compensate him.
Peters was remanded to prison and will reappear in court on August 16. [Royan Abrams]
