According to the Ministry of Health, these latest fatalities are two males, one 73-year-old from Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) and another 62-year-old from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica).
They both died on Saturday while receiving care at medical facilities.

The Ministry is also appealing to the general public to respect the confidentiality of the two
deceased and their families and to allow them to mourn their tragic loss in peace.
