Guyana’s Covid-19 death toll has climbed to 449, after two more persons who were infected with the virus died.
The latest fatalities are a 57-year-old female and 64-year-old male from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica).
The country has also recorded 48 new cases, taking the total positive cases recorded to date to 19144.
There are 18 persons in the ICU, 106 in institutional isolation, 1396 in home isolation, and one in institutional quarantine.
The total recoveries stand at 17175.
