[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Busta Soft Shoe Tournament received a boost on Tuesday, April 21 from 2 J’s General Store for its most valuable player of the tournament (MVP).
The popular general store made a contribution of $50,000 to the winner of the MVP award. Director of the Petra Organization, Troy Mendonca, who coordinates the tournament, expressed gratitude to 2 J’s and noted that it is always good to reward the players who entertain the fans.
Supervisor of 2 J’s, Loyette Barnwell was pleased to be associated with the Busta Tournament and wished the organizers well. The knockout stage of the tournament will begin on Thursday, April 23 at the Georgetown Football Club ground.
