[www.inewsguyana.com] – Nineteen – year – old Ryan Sooklall was on Sunday evening (March 01) shot and killed reportedly by a man who had earlier accused him of opening fire at a house in Agricola, East Bank Demerara.
According to reports, following the initial shooting at Agricola, the police went in search of the teen but were unable to locate him; however a few hours later, a lone gunman walked up to the teen and shot him in the back at Providence, East Bank Demerara, which is a short distance from his home.
Police sources told iNews that they have not been able to locate the Agrciola resident who accused Sooklall of shooting at his house. Sooklall’s mother, Sherry Allen told iNews that she was returning from Splashmin’s Fun Park when she received the news that her son was shot.
Upon her arrival at the Diamond hospital, she was informed he died. The woman explained that her son appeared to have sustained a single gunshot wound to the back.
Police investigations are ongoing.
