[www.inewsguyana.com] – The 18 – year – old male who has accused ten men including his friend of drugging and gang raping him on Old Year’s Night is in a serious condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
During a visit to the hospital; the teenager’s mother told iNews that she was informed by doctors that her son was raped repeatedly and that he is now traumatized and in a state of shock.
When iNews visited the teenager on Friday afternoon, the young man was tossing in pain and remained unresponsive to his relatives. The mother bemoaned the the level of medical attention initially given to her son at the West Demerara Regional Hospital.
She said that doctors there were reluctant to examine him and only did so when she insisted. She said that her son met the prime suspect in the alleged gang rape at a supermarket where the two worked. The suspect is in police custody.
She said that her son also implicated the uncle of the friend and according her, after the boys raped him, the uncle threw the 18 year old out of the house and threatened to shoot him.
if he was my son the 10 men ho did that would have to pray to god that the police find them before i did.
This article upsets me to the max. I will be following this article to see that the ten men are jail for ten years each, as a representative of their cruelty.
This is totally unacceptable as a citizen and as a human being. It’s a shame to our country and our society. These men should be punished to the full extent of the law without pleading guilty or not since the medical examination proves the crime was done and also if our country was had forensics to look in to these matters Guyana would be a better place with less fear and less sick behaviors coming from these shameless beasts.

What kind of men would gang rape another man? Wow, this needs to be prosecuted to the entire weight of the law. This young man will have a difficult time living in his own community, but putting the perps in jail for a very long time will help him a bit.
