[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police say at about 04:30hrs Saturday (January 18), a patron at a night spot on Main Street, Georgetown, observed a man attempting to break into his motor vehicle and discharged a round from a firearm at the man.
He missed and the bullet struck 17- year – old Joseph Johnson of Queen Street, Kitty, to his face. He has been admitted a patient at a private hospital.
The 17 – year – old is said to be the son of the owner of Nigel’s Supermarket.
Investigations are in progress.
