[www.inewsguyana.com] – Seventeen – Year – old teenager Rico Persaud of Walton Hall, Essequibo Coast has ingested a quantity of deadly poison and is battling for his life in the Suddie hospital.
iNews understands that the teenager attended a birthday party at Paradise Village and tried to commit suicide after a girl he is in love with rejected him.
According to reports reaching iNews, the rejected teenager was imbibing at the Party, after which he went to a shop in Paradise, where he purchased the bottle of poison.
He was rescued by friends and relatives, who rushed him to the Suddie hospital. This is the first reported case of suicide attempt in the Region for 2014.
