[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating the murder of Azad Potter of Garden of Eden, East Bank Demerara, which occurred yesterday [Tuesday October 21], at Konawaruk Backdam, Potaro.
According to a police media release, the 17 – year – old was allegedly beaten by a group of men who had accused him of stealing articles from their mining camp. He later succumbed to his injuries.
Four men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
