[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 17-year-old motorcyclist was killed late Thursday evening (November 26) and his pillion rider injured after a white Tacoma reportedly struck them and subsequently drove away.
Travis Bollers was reportedly riding along Sheriff Street with his cousin, Quacy McAlman in tow when the Tacoma came out of John Street and struck them.
iNews understands that the incident occurred sometime after 23:00 hrs and according to reports, Bollers and the cousin were pitched from the motorcycle. While Bollers sustained a head injury and subsequently died, the cousin reportedly sustained minor injuries.
iNews understands that after the two were hit, the driver of the Tacoma came out of the vehicle and looked at them, then sped away after realizing the extent of Bollers’ injuries.
During this time, McAlman was attempting to save his cousin’s life by taking his T-Shirt to strap the wound. The 17-year-old subsequently died while receiving treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Relatives and friends of the deceased are now pleading with the general public for any information that would lead to the arrest of the driver of the Tacoma vehicle.
Persons are being urged to contact Bollers’ brother on 672-4695 or the nearest police station.

I knew Travis bollers personally and I would have you know that he is the most respectful young man I know and a loving and caring friend.
