[www.inewsguyana.com] – The community of Charity, Essequibo Coast was thrown into a state of disbelief as 16 – year – old Talia DaSilva took her own life on Thursday morning (December 12).
iNews was reliably informed that the young woman had an argument with her mother this morning and decided to take her own life, after her mother left for work.
Information reaching iNews revealed that the young woman’s mother took away her cell phone and physically scolded her. After the beating, the teenager locked herself in the bedroom, tied a rope to her neck, ending her life.
The last photo on the young woman’s Blackberry Messenger Profile stated “Love is all about Trust.”
DaSilva lived with her mother, who is a single parent along with two brothers and a sister. She attended the Charity Secondary School.
