[www.inewsguyana.com] – The woman hired to kill Linda Phillips was released on bail on Wednesday (October 10) following her appearance at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court.
The alleged contract killer, 22 – year – old Deandra Grenville was charged with the indictable offence of attempted murder, along with her accomplice 35 – year – old Grace Ramrakah.
Grenville was represented by Attorney – at – Law James Bond, while Ramrakah was represented by Attorney – at – Law Sanjeev Datadin. They were both placed on $175,000 bail. They are scheduled to re – appear in Court on November 15.
Linda Phillips of 45 Crown Dam, Industry, East Coast Demerara was stabbed to her chest and back at her residence by two unknown persons around 10:45hrs on Thursday October 3.
The suspect was caught in the bushes by residents. The alleged killer told the residents that she was paid $130,000 to kill the woman. At the time of the incident, Phillips had just completed her chores when she was attacked in the house.
