[www.inewsguyana.com] – After three months on the run, the police have finally captured Errol Khan, who is wanted for the murder of Haslington, East Coast Demerara fisherman, Chetram Bharat, which occurred in May.
Khan is also accused of seriously injuring Bharat’s wife, Lomattie Ramdat.
Police sources confirmed that Khan confessed to chopping the man to death and with attempting to kill the man’s wife. He allegedly told investigators that he and the dead man’s wife were having an affair and then things went sour between the two.
On May 02, the injured woman indicated that two men entered their home with cutlasses and demanded cash and jewellery and began chopping them. She said that during the robbery the men also fled with $500,000.
